Keep in mind that the average diagnostic medical sonography salary is quite good, and can lead to a pay of almost $40.00 per hour. Americare Institute has a Diagnostic General Sonography program, Americare Institute College of Health Professionals has two specific programs: The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography and the Diagnostic General Sonography so that if you wish to specialize in a department of Sonography you can tailor your education. In Miami the ATI College of Health has a diagnostic ultrasound technician degree. Keiser University and Sanford-Brown Institute have campuses all around Florida that also have Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs.
